Halloween Fun!!!

Here are Lots of fun pictures of all of the Halloween activities that we did. We were really busy this year.
The Halloween Carnival
The Carnival was super fun, good job too all of you guys that help put it on. It was a to school and Berny and I helped with some of the booths. Here is Whitney, Lili, and cute Casie Ray.
Whitney and I dressed up as Little miss muffet and she was the spider.
Trick of Treat with our Library Children's Book Club
This was really fun. We have been going to a special reading time on Tuesday's at the Shoshone Library, at 10:15 am. Anyone who has little kids still at home should really come. We read stories and sing songs. But best of all we get treats :) Whitney loves it. For Halloween all of the kids dressed up and we took them Trick or Treating to some of the local businesses. It was a really nice and sunny day and the kids loved it.
These are some of the cute costumes that the kids wore. We had princesses, Tigers, and lots of spiders.
The spider must have been the hottest selling item at Wal-mart because we had three of them and they were all so cute. To bad I couldn't get them to look at me for the picture.
I think that Mador Tomador won the contest though he was so cute. Way to go Mijken!!
I think our little bunny got tired, Trick or Treating can really ware you out.
Mijken and I had a stroller party. It will be fun next year when Whitney can walk.

Halloween Baking Party at Tasha's House
On Halloween day Tasha, Jessica, and I spent the day making yummy goodies for the 6th grade bake sale. It was an adventure! But baking on Halloween has always seemed to be a tradition in my family. Every Halloween mom spends the day making donuts to give to the Trick or Treaters. It has become something that people expect when they go to mom house, that along with candy they will get a donut. I even had people coming to my door this year asking me where they could find the donuts. I love my mom!! But anyway that is what me and my buddies did Halloween day. We made pumpkin rolls and suckers.

I will label this picture "super mom". Not only is Tasha pregnant, but she is holding her son on her hip entertaining her daughter and making suckers all at the same time. Tasha you never cease to amaze me.
Now here is one heck of a catch. Not only is she beautiful but she can make some incredible pumpkin rolls. ymmm! This is my sista Jessica and yes she is taken, but that Chancey is one lucky fella :)
This is Jessica's son Colton. He was a big help to me. Our job was to put the powdered sugar on the rolls.

Halloween Night!!! Trick or Treat!!!
For Halloween night we invited Bernave and Debbie, Berny's parents, over for dinner and then we watch a scary movie, Santa Clause 3, that Jack frost character gave me the willies :) hehe! But I love giving candy out to all the kids and seeing the cute costumes.

Here is Whitney again in her spider outfit with the pumpkins that we got from the pumpkin patch.

Whitney and I are making 0ur scary faces. Boo!!!

Another cute Whitney picture.

Whitney and Grandma Debbie

Whitney and Grandpa Marquez. Grandma and Grandpa took Whitney Trick or Treating to great Grandma Maxine's house.

Trick of Treat Costume Contest!
These are some of the Trick or Treaters that came to my door. I am going to do a little costume contest so I want everyone to place a vote on who they think won the Trick or Treat costume contest. Here are the contestants.

The Newey family Mermaid, Cheerleader, and crazy mom :)

The Buckner girls, and little Lilli, red is rad!

Sam and Bree, can't beat the pick hair and Fancy glasses :)

James, Levi, and Edward. I'm not sure but I think they were dressed as goofy teenage boys with gift bags. I love these guys!

The Fackeral Indian Clan They all matched :)

Janine, the wicked witch with a big head and her adorable daughter. She actually scared Whitney. Janine had to take off her mask so that Whitney would stop crying :) hehe!

Batman Matthew, He actually made this outfit on his own.Uncle Heath should be really proud :)

Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

Here we are at the pumpkin patch in Jerome. Mollie came down with her new baby and we had so much fun. Her and I left Richfield to go to Jerome and on the way she was telling me how she has had a hard time remembering thing since she had Zoe, and we were laughing at some of her story of what she had forgotten when we realized that we had taken a wrong turn. When we were in Shoshone we turned to go to Gooding instead of going on to Jerome. By the time Mollie realized what she had done we were right outside of Gooding. We Laughed so hard, I don't know who had magnesia worse Mollie for making the wrong turn or me for not even realizing that she had made the wrong turn. Your guess is as good as mine. But anyway, because of our little detour we got there quite late. hehe! but as you can see we made it.
Joseph, Joshua, Gracie, Preston, Zoe, and Whitney. It was like pulling teeth to get this picture.
Preston and Gracie are very good friends. They hung out with each other all day. The funny thing is when Mollie saw Preston and Gracie holding hands she said "I just got a glimpse of what it will be like when Preston had a girlfriend, and I don't think I like it. He looks like such a big boy in that coat." I thought that was so funny.

Joshua was such a good boy and he was really excited about the pumpkins Here are the pumpkins and the kids.

Jose loves his big pumpkin.

Julianne and Gracie picking out their pumpkins. Julianne was amazing I think she had her baby a few days after this.

Whitney and her pumpkins

I guess they both wanted the same pumpkin.

I liked this pumpkin but we didn't get it because it was too green.

Joshua told his mom that he wanted a BIG pumpkin but he chose a little one.

Whitney did not enjoy the wind.

Steph and her boys are hunting.

Preston, Mollie, and Zoe (in the moby) are finding there find.
Here is my bum, yes I do work out. hehe! I was pushing the wagon.
We are telling Mollie that she is looking very well endowed, with Zoe all curled up in there. I think she thought it was funny, or not :)
Off we go in the wagon.
Cute kids!

What a fun day

Cross Country... Crazy Kidz :)

Congratulations to the Richfield Cross Country team. They have had a great year, and I am so proud of them. They just had their district and State tournament. Here they are at districts. Sasha Kent took second place and went on to State, where she ended up beating the Shoshone girl that beat her at districts. Matthew is now my new hero. He ran his heart out, after he was done he asked us all if it was ok that he felt like he could smell and taste the inside of his stomach.... I had no idea what to say to that, so I laughed. The week before Matthew took 5th place and ran the 3 1/2 mile race in 20 min 13 seconds. So we thought that he would have a chance to go to State. But there were different runners in this race and they were extremely fast. I think that the first place guy ran it in 17min. Matthew ended up getting 19th out of about 50 boys, and he ran it is 20min 15sec. I love watching him run because he does not look like a boy with a disability, he looks like competition and a regular boy. It also help that with Matthews history of seizures and other cases of bad luck (broken arms, re-bar through the knee, etc.) he doesn't seem to feel pain. I love watching him at the end of the race, when he is able to sprint with all that he has left and cross that finish line. I tear up every time I see him do that. He is an amazing boy. I hope he can have his chance at State next year. The rest of the team ran great as well and I am so proud of all of them. Richfield Cross Country Team. Coached by Becky Ward, good job Becky. (Jordan Kent, James Clayton, Robbie Schmidt, Hason Workmen, Matthew Ellis, and Sasha Kent.)
Here are the boys right before their race. They don't look nervous at all. (Jordan Kent, James Claton, Robbie Schmidt, Hason Workmen, and Matthew)

Here are the boys on the starting line... Oh I'm so nervous. This is Cindy Brownly and Whitney. Cindy is the School bus driver and Whitney loves her because she give her crackers :)
Whitney, Grandma and Grandma great. They are giving each other high fives.

Halloween cupcakes

We had a huge snowstorm at the beginning of this month. It was crazy, I felt like putting my Christmas music in and rocking around the Christmas tree. But Danielle Schmidt felt like it was important to remind everyone that it was going to be Halloween and not Christmas. So we got together and made some pumpkin cupcakes. They were so cute, and Nathan Arters helped by keeping Whitney busy.
