I need to do an update on Lance. He is really trying to talk now. He says "Thank you" anytime I give him something. He say "uh oh" if anything drops on the floor. He says "Daddy and Mom" of course. And he can pretty much mimic anything that I say in his own way of saying it. I just think it is the cutest thing ever. Whitney is learning her letter names and sound, and she is learning to write them. She know B,D,E,H,J,M,O,P,Q,R,S,W,X,Y,Z. She still has trouble identifying the other. But she knows all of her colors and she can count to 10. She has memorized 5 articles of faith and a plethora of songs. She has an excellent memory!! Good thing, because that is something that I don't have. There are many times that she will remind me to bring something or not forget something.
There really is no greater joy that seeing my children grow and learn. When it comes to my children I think my senses are heightened like a Super power, like Super Mom. I can see them do something and get so much joy out of it that I laugh so hard that I cry and anyone else wouldn't even notice or care. My Joy is Super Joy, My child can to something so small and I think it is hysterically funny and I Super Laugh, When I children are sick or hurt it hurt worse that anything and I Super Hurt. There is not drug that can match the High that I get from just being able to be around my children everyday and experience every little development that they have and I Love them sooooo much!!!

Lance has figured out how to get to the stairs
So I have really been trying to keep Lance away from the stairs because I did not want him to fall down them. In order to have peace of mind I went and got a gate from Wal-Mart. Well the problem is that he figured out how to crawl through the holes on the side he is so smart. We I had a come back, I put the armour in front. "Ha!! that'll hold him." Well it work for a few weeks until one day I caught him with is big baby muscles pulling the armour back and getting out. My last idea is to just take the gate off and watch while he plays on the stairs. That way he will get really good at going up and down the stairs and I wont have to worry about it anymore and my armour can go back to doing the job it was made to do along with the other couches in the living room.

Helping Mom Make Brownies
Family Date! Dinner and a Movie
After dinner we went to a movie, Whitney kept getting eaten by the chair she was sitting in. I can't remember much about the movie because I was in and out with Lance. He wanted to walk all over the theater not stay in a seat or even on his mom's lap. He is such a social little boy. He wanted to talk to everyone in the large room.
Man hole? I mean Baby Hole!

St. Patricks Day, Green Egg Suprise!!
This St. Patricks day I decided to surprise everyone with a green breakfast. Berny woke up that morning and got ready for work. When he came to get his breakfast I could tell he was a little surprised. But you know him he would never complain about anything I make. Such a good sport. Whitney on the other hand did not want anything to do with the colorful surprise and Lance loved it and was asking for more!! It was a fun little way to celebrate the holiday and no one could pinch my family because their green was on the inside.
Box Car
This was a really cute day. It makes me so happy when I see my kids playing happily with each other. They found this box and were pretending that it was a car. So I started driving them around in it. I could get it to go pretty fast when we were on the carpet. They both would laugh really hard when I made them go fast.

Whitney Discovers Scissors
Whitney's hair was getting pretty long but it was really getting stringy looking so I knew that I would need to trim it so that it could look healthy again. Well I made the mistake of telling Whitney that she need her hair cut. So Whitney took it upon herself to make sure that it got done. I found her in the kitchen with the Kitchen scissors in her hand and a pile of hair on the floor. I was so sad, so later I just wack it all of, now she has a short haircut. She seems to like it though. Daddy told her that if she ever cut her hair again that he would cut her hair so that it would look like a boy. He said he would give her a Lance hair cut. She didn't like that at all. Julianne told me that she tell her girls that if they eat their vegetables that it will make their hair grow really long and pretty, so that makes them gobble up their veggies. I tried the same trick with Whitney, I said "If you eat that spinach it will make your hair grow back, long and pretty." Whitney says, "like Rapunzel?" Happily, thinking it is working I say, "Ya, like Rapunzel!!" Whitney says, "No I don't want hair like that I like it short." DANG!!

Whitney is so clever!!
Lance's First Hair Cut
He did really well, he sat still fro more than half of his head. It was only toward the end that the lines got a little skewed because he was moving around too much to make them look right. I love my little boy.
Later that night Mark and Aki showed up with their kids and Mark wanted to see who was bigger Tristan or Lance. They are pretty much the same, they are both size small!! You would know what I meant if Jared was standing next to them. He looks like a giant when he is with these two dwarfs. And so I say farewell from the land of mythical creatures Next stop the land of princesses and pixie fairies, which is a place I visit often with Whitney.
Achievment Days Activity and Whitney Playing
Whitney has been working really hard to do the things that are on her chart because when she earns dots on her chart she can earn lots of different things like movie time, personal time with mommy, or even sometimes a treat. One of the dots that she can earn is a writing and craft dot. this is was she did on a cold winter day when it was snowing outside and I told her it was too cold to go outside and build a snowman. So she built her own snowman out of play dough. I was very impressed, she did it all by herself too. I made a snow flake, and I did it all by myself too. lol!

For a short time I had the calling of achievement day leader. I was in charge of the youngest group the 8 to 10 year old's. Then the ward split and I was released from that calling and given called to be a Relief Society teacher, and I stayed the Ward Choir director. This was one of the activities that I did with one of my girls. Her name is Cheyenne and we built with the play dough. Whitney had fun too. And after they were done with the play dough they had a lot of fun playing together. By the end of their time together Whitney was calling Cheyenne, " My best friend Cheyenne. The only problem was that she had not told her mom that she was going to be a my house and so her dad was really worried when he got home and saw that she was not there. When no one was coming to get her I started calling her mother but she was in class. After she got out she checked her message and call her frantic husband. Yikes, I glad it all got worked out but I felt so bad for her dad. And I learned that when you have a calling to work with other peoples kid you need to have the mom and the DAD'S phone number.
