Ouch!!!!

Heavenly Father sure looks out for his children! And I am so grateful that he sends me people that know more than me. The other day I was doing my morning workout and I had Whitney sitting in her high chair that attaches to the counter. I had just cut her a pare and set the knife on the counter, thinking that it was out of reach from Whitney. So I was doing my workout, really getting into it and I look over at my daughter. She was holding the knife in her hand by the blade. I ran over to get the knife out of her hand and as I tried to pull it from her death grip the knife sliced through her finger. When I saw what had happen I felt like I was going to faint. I was mortified. I prayed to my father in Heaven that I would be able to know what I should do. So I covered it with a towel and called my mother :) hehe! Mom came over right away and helped me drive her to the doctors office in Shoshone. They did such a great job stitching that tiny little finger. The doctor even sang " I am a child of God" with me as she stitched. And now all is well. they got the job done and Whitney knows that when mom says to let go she need to let go. And mom knows that she must keep knifes out of the reach of children, even though that reach seems to change everyday! :) These are the bandages, she only had to get stitches in her middle finger but her pinkie, ring finger, and her pointer finger all got smaller cuts on them, so we put bandages on them. it was so sad.
Here is Whitney on the day that she got the stitches out. She was happy as a lark, until she saw the doctor that had given her the stitches then she remember where she was but she did great. I think she was surprised herself at how much getting the stitches out did not hurt.

My Thoughts on This Years Presidential Election

I got this link from Diana Sutter's Blog, thanks Diana. I think it is very important that America will elect someone into a government office that believes so openly in God and in the Family. I think that those two thing are the only things that will save our country. I don't care what type of skills or how many accomplishments someone has if they do not put their trust in Jesus Christ they will be leading us to disaster. Jesus Christ is the way, the only way. If your government officials do not believe that, then I hate to think of where they are getting their inspiration to make important decisions for you and me, for our country (Which was founded under God). I think that Sara Palin is the right choice for Vice President because she is not only saying that she supports family, she is doing it. If anyone can understand what it is like raising or living with a special needs child you will know that it not easy. It is spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally draining. But they truly are a blessing. It is time for America to vote for morals again. To expect our leaders to have integrity and to BELIEVE IN GOD and talk of Him openly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qforjC64Hfs

I am so proud to be an American. I am so thankful for all the lives that have been given so that I can be free. And I believe that there are times that we must protect what is most dear to us, we must fight "in memory of our god, our religion, and Freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children." (Alma 46:12) http://scriptures.lds.org/en/alma/46. I wish that there were other ways to protect our country from Terrorist that would murder innocent people. But those that are fighting and protecting our peace and freedom are doing good things and I pray for them.

A week in Bosie, thanks to car touble :)

Two Weeks after Mollie had her baby I got to go to Boise and help her for a while. I don't know how much help I was because I had my own little Whit bit there, but I played with Preston quite a bit. It was pretty funny! I was not planning on staying as long as I did but the fuel pump went out on my car so I had to stay until it was fixed. I ended up there for a whole week. I had a lot of fun and Mollie's new little Zoe Mae is a doll.

This is Zoe Mae, Mollie, Whitney, and Preston just hanging out one morning. They are probably watching Dora. Preston tried all week to get Whitney to snuggle with him but Whitney didn't want to be touched by anyone. She was teething and had a fever most of the time we were there, life was just too much for her to handle.

Here is a happy picture of the fabulous three. Well at least Whitney was happy :)

This is pretty little Zoe all bundled up. She is such a tiny little thing, she weighed about 6pounds 12 ounces but she was 21 in. So she is tall and skinny.

Preston is such a good big brother and so protective. He called Zoe Mae "his baby!"

I cooked dinner one of the days that I was there and just left Whitney on the Kitchen floor to play. She got a hold of a chocolate chip that had fallen on the floor. That little stinker got it all over herself but who could be mad at a face like that?

Mollie, her husband Heath, and her father in law Brian are all starting this new workout program and eating plan called phantom X (I think that is what it is called). I was lucky to get a picture of Heath and Brian doing the workout. It was hilarious!

Here is Mollie and Preston. It was a nice night so we all went out on the lawn and sat.

Whitney tried on Preston's hat.

And Preston took it back :( haha!

Then Preston impressed us all with his bike riding skills. He could crused on this thing, but he didn't know how to peddle so he would push it with his feet. It reminded me of Fred Flinstone, those legs could really get going fast.

On Friday we decorated pumpkins, it was really fun. I love this time of year so much because of all the colors!

Here is my finished pumpkin.

And here it is from another angle. I know I am cheesy! :)
Lynn, Mollie's mother in Law, got the prize for best pumpkin. It was so cute. She really has a talent for that kind of stuff

Here is Preston and his pumpkin, He was pretty proud of it too, but he just could not stop playing :)

Jammin' at the Schmidts!!

Michelle, one of my best friends, brought her boyfriend down to the good old town of Richfield to meet the family. It turned out to be a real party. I brought my guitar, Joe had his, Tim (her boyfriend) had a trumpet, and Michelle played some piano. It was so fun we play some hymns, some country songs and pretty much anything that we all knew how to play. I love the Schmidts they are a blast.
Candace Farnworth and I have been trying to learn "Our Song" by Taylor Swift so, here I am trying to play it.

Joe is a master at the guitar, he is the man. He can play anything, once he hears it he can play it.

Here is Tim Michelle's boyfriend, and my buddy Michelle. ahhh! So cute!
Tim is the man, I love this guys. He is really an awesome guy and he treats Michelle so good. She is so beautiful!!

So Many Boys!!

Whitney had a play day with the boys. This was such a cute picture with the cousins!!! Stephanie, Mom, Leejean, Johanna, and I went to the park in Hansen to see Wesley play soccer. He did great, I don't think that his team won but he did awesome. The real fun happened after the game!! We danced to the songs on Johanna's phone, jumped over and on Johanna's back, and they all huddle into the water fountain and took a cute picture :)
This is a good picture of Preston and Wesley. Mom had Preston for the weekend because his Mommy was needed some time to take care of her new baby, Zoe. It was so much fun having him with us. He thought Wesley was the coolest thing since Lighting McQueen and he followed Wesley around everywhere. It was so cute.

Branding Cows

Berny and I have been trying really hard to makes sure that we go on a date at least once a week. Well a few weeks ago it was Berny's turn to plan the date..... so we branded cows. Yahoo! I wasn't as excited about it at first but it turned out to be fun... who am I kidding when your husband is going to school and working anything with him is fun :) Honestly it was a great date and it didn't cost a thing :)
My Job was to fill up the Shots and Berny put them in

This is Jesus. He is a really nice guy and he smiles a lot. He doesn't speak English so I had fun trying to talk and understand him :) He was the one that did the branding.
Berny was really serious about catching the cow by the neck before they ran through the shoot. I distracted him with this picture and one got through. Oop! ;) I told him that in the next one he should smile :) hehe!We are all done. Yahoo! I love my husband!
Berny and Jesus

Reunion with my buddies!!

It was so good to see Brooke again and it is always good to see Candace! :) Give me Michelle and Hayley and it would have been just like High school :) I love my friends! Oh ya! The boys won the game too!

Whitney is GROWING!!!

Whitney Has learned how to stand by herself, if she is up against something. Which is pretty amazing considering that she has n0t decided that she wants to crawl. She rolls to wherever she wants to be and then tries to pull herself up to stand. The other day she rolled over to the couch and braced her head up against it. Then she pulled her legs up to a standing position but that left her stuck with her but up in the air, in a down word dog yoga pose. She just could not figure out how to get her upper half on top of her lower half, so she turned to the side and lifted one arm in the air. But unfortunately she could not keep her balance and she toppled over. She was so bummed. It was sooo! cute!

Here are some glamor pictures of my girl!! Hehe! I am just so excited because her hair is finally long enough that I can put it in little pony tails, Yahoo! she looks so cute.Of course I had to hurry and take the picture because she was pretty eager to grab those pony's with both hands and yank them right out! boooo! But kids have their agency too!

And here is the finally of our "Whitney is GROWING" post. The other day Daddy was telling Whitney that she needed to hurry up and eat. Whitney looked right at her dad waved her arm and said "nu uh!!" We were so surprised, no one told me that kids learned how to argue when they were ten months. I don't know if I am ready for this! hehehe!

Happy Birthday Lealani!!!

Lealani had her Birthday party last Month! Yahoo! She is now a one year old! It was a fun party. We had a picnic at the park had cake and ice cream and opened some presents. Mijken Telford and her kids came, Ashley, Emma, Jared, and her little red head Clair. And Jamie Hall her girls and Jamie's cousin Lindsey and her little boy. It was very fun.

It took a while for Lealani to dig into her cake that was just for her, but once she did she really dug in. It was so cute!

Whitney and Lealani are wearing their party hats.

This is the cake that Aki made out of cup cakes, it is a flower! I helped :) hehe!
