This is Jesus. He is a really nice guy and he smiles a lot. He doesn't speak English so I had fun trying to talk and understand him :) He was the one that did the branding.
Berny was really serious about catching the cow by the neck before they ran through the shoot. I distracted him with this picture and one got through. Oop! ;) I told him that in the next one he should smile :) hehe!

glad he is u r hubby lol. i would off beat ryan up for that. to much of that when i was growing up haha glad you had fun
my first thought was didn't you do that as a kid. but then I remebered that you were probably quite small when dad made the shift from rancher to cop. I'm glad you had fun. I used to give shots to calves and even got to run the brander. but we never used the electric ones. We used a real fire to heat the irons. But it was a propane fire in a barrel, not on the ground. Ahhhh branding time, the memories, and Fun times. Love ya tons
Ohhh yes! I have had my time with branding. but anything with my husband is fun. even wrestleing cows!:)
Looks like fun, sort of! The barn looks familiar!! Thanks for all of your help (bernys help too!) PS his name is Jesus, he is TONS of good help to have around! (Betcha didnt know you were branding with Jesus, ha ha, we make jokes like that occasionally, I hope its not to sac-religious!)
You and Berny are always doing something fun for date night. We would have loved to have joined you!!!! We need to plan another dinner and bowling date after hunting is over. Sound good sista?? Love ya lots!!!
